NANANARC [HE/THEY]

or Na for short, is a multi-disciplinary artist born from the Internet's womb in the bustling city of Hanoi, Vietnam - the land where dragons take flight. 

He makes anti-romance comics and paintings. His sound art pieces are produced by mixing industrial site recordings with traditional musical elements.  All of his artworks often depict themes of contradiction, alienation, and being ripped apart into different realities. Na's major artistic influences include the Japanese manga industry, Indochina-Vietnamese masters of Paintings such as Lê Thị Lựu, tranh Đông Hồ (Vietnamese woodblock prints), and internet subcultures such as nanopunk, vaporwave, and deathdreamcore. He likes to refer to his art style as Maxrxtaoism (Maximal Marxist Taoism)
