Nananarc worked for Trung tâm Hợp tác phát triển Tây Bắc (Center of Northwest Development), an NGO that specializes in improving the economic development and local culture of the Northwest areas of Vietnam. During this time, they assisted in projects that focuses on improving agricultural practices as well as giving more business opportunities to women from ethnic minorities such as Thái, Mường, Mông, Lào.

Nananarc always tries to incorporate Vietnamese elements into his visual and sound art, thus breaths a new air of modernity and alternative internet culture into traditions. It is his goal to help develop the many dwindling cultural practices in Vietnam by learning, using, and dispersing his heritage to the global world.

Nananarc acts as assistant for the project director, Hà Thúy Hằng, during the first run. He is now the current lead to revive the project.
